Is it just me or are there others that hate the word "entitlements" the republicans use so freely. Now I see the Senator who happens to Majority Leader is talking about cutting the payments to retired and disable people again. The benefits were paid by us into the Social Security Trust Fund system and also our employeers.There are people in both parties who believe that this Trust Fund is piggy bank to be use to pay for budget overuns and or budget deficit. The great tax cut pass early by Senate and sign by the man in the White House.Has cost billions and help with the trillion of dollars national debt come about.
 Now the man who ran on a platform of no cuts to Social Security or Medicare now wants to use the trust Fund to save his ass. We cannot allow this to happen. Any time there is cuts to the revenue of the goverment (taxes) the powers that be,think that its okay to raid the trust fund at their leisure. The only problem being  with that is they never make an offer to pay back the money they "borrow". Is that like stealing not borrowing. The goverment bails out the auto industry or farmers hurt on tariffs and trade wars. But the idea of paying back never is heard by the people whose money it really is. But how they want to end Social Security and put in the general fund for Congress to use at it lesisure.
Being so sure that I for one want my money I paid in back,the amount I paid in over 40 years of having taken out ever pay check. I think thats only fair to ask. Some may not agree with this but why should we have to pay for a tax cut that only gives money back to people who have more money then the rest of us,or just cause they have money then the rest of us.
 We are suppose to live in a country,  of the people, by the people, for the people. Not some of the people, some of the time. When you elect someone who only looks for the interests of special interests and not the interests of all the people then it's time to get someone else to be the representative  of all the people. Not someone who only takes care of the moneyed interest of this country.
